why do people use syllogism2. Why do people use syllogisms?

a syllogism is a chain of reasoning that proves something. people in an argument, paper, or in an academical setting will use them because they are strong and efficient ways of proving a statement trwhy do people use syllogismue. if you are sure that D is true, then

if D then C, If C then B, If B then A.

so it follows that

If D then A.

a syllogism can also be used reversely to

If A can only be true with B,why do people use syllogism then If A then B
If B can only be true with C, then If B then C
If C can only be true with D, then If C then D

hence, proving a cause
In order to figure out new information from given informatiowhy do people use syllogismn.
