world of warcraft bow dropsWorld Of Warcraft Vs Runescape?

This is so funny. All these Runescape kids talking trash about WoW when more then half of them haven’t even played it. I’ve played both games and i know what I’m talking about.
WoW:
1) Thousands of different quests according to your faction.

2) More player customization, pick from 10 classes and 10 races.

3) The world map is 10 times the size of Runescape, and has different transportations such as; boats, zeppelins, Mage portals.

4) To those people who say Runescape has better armor and you cant tell which people in WoW have good armor, your stupid. WoW has so many armors according to your class and faction; there is PvP armor, Pve Tier armor. There is like 100+ different armor sets, and 1000+ more armor from duengon/monster/quest drops.

5) The raiding in WoW demolishes the “raiding in Runescape.” There is hundreds of dungeons and soon to be more coming out in Cataclysm. There is a story line about every dungeon. Dungeons give out thousands of drops. When you get to level 80 in WoW half the game begins, When you get to level 136...hmm dont u still have the same armour 20 levels ago?

6) WoW comes out with different expansions which upgrade the game better and better. The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and the newest coming out in Dec. 9 2010 Cataclysm.

7) The best thing that WoW beats Runescape in is PvP. Wow has 10 classes that have so many spells/attacks that you could do. You can get better gear to PvP better in battlegrounds/world Pvp/duels/arenas! Runescape just has armor, swords, axes, bow and arrow, and magic…

8)Membership. Okay we know WoW is $15 a month. But hey it’s hell worth it for what you can do.
You can pick from hundreds of realms to play in. You can have a max of 50 characters overall your realms. Max of 10 characters in each realm. Runescape is $5 and you cheaps play Runescape because you cant afford WoW which is worth the money. Runescape is $5 a month for one character, what if you want to make several characters members? Oops you can but you need pay an extra $5, which no one who plays Runescape has..ouch.

9) Race/Classes. There is two factions in WoW, Alliance and Horde. Alliance has; Gnomes, Dwarfs, Night Elves, Humans, Draenei, and soon to be Worgens in Cataclysm. Horde has; Orcs, Trolls, Taurens, Undead, Blood Elves, and soon to be Goblins. Runescape has humans…oh fun.

10) Professions vs Skills. Runescape has more skills to pick then WoW but do they actually help your character besides getting money? Every single WoW profession helps your character out in a different way. Here are some; Enchanting gives stats to your armor which help when Pvping or Pveing. Blacksmithing, makes crazy good gear which go up to end game raiding. Runescape Smithing goes only up to Rune, who uses that AV儿劣*? Did i mention you could place gems in your gear, that makes your armor/weapons stronger? AV儿劣* Yea thats beast Gemcrafting is the skill that makes those gems, and they make a AV儿劣* load of money.

11) The creators of Wow and Runescape. Blizzard Entertainment created WoW, and like five more hit games like Starcraft II, Diablo I, II, III, and way more awesome hit games. I think we know that these guys are pro’s. Jagex made Runescape.

Whoever read this thank you. I know this is biased but it’s the truth and you “Runescaper’s” need to really understand. Your game is a browser game too cheap to be on a disc. WoW is the best game out there and will remain the best.
WoW is one of the best MMORPG, I love it very much and I'm still playing it.
FOR THE HORDE!!!
hmmm i think youve forgotten something.Does wow have never ending quests? does it have people who are cooler than everybody who plays wow? does it have regular updates? is it the number1free mmorpg? NO world of warcraft sucks jagexes ballsifuwanna pay 15 bucks for a game get a life +jagexmade funorb

I agree with every single word you said. My mom made me quit WoW about a year back. At midnight on my 18th birthday, I am buying a new laptop and installing it, and then I'm farming on my hunter all day.
I agree with most of what you have.. but youve forgotten one BIG thing.

Thanks to Cataclysm patch, wow now sucks.

Support Justice!
Ban Catacysym!!
i love wow its so addictive i would quit before u start playing everyday four five hours a day
i like WOW!
what's the question?
I love wow myself, i have a 6k geascore deekay (lol sucker for punishment everyone hates us =p). and if u try to charge in even at marrowgar u will get the whole raid cleaved and wipe it you tool so atleast have a clue what ur on about. and yes i have played RS i have a 110+6 character (dthwestcoast, you may look him up on hiscores)

one extra thing people look into warcraft lore its even more in depth that rs is (which is fairly detailed in itself)
I have played both for quite a while.
Runescape Skills trainable at once: 24

WoW skills trainable at once: -2-

RS character trying out a new skill: "Ah, so I kill cows, take their hides, get them tanned, then sew them into leather armour"
WoW character trying out a new skill:"Hmm, I think I might try my hand at Tailoring... WTF I JUST FORGOT HOW TO SMITH ANYTHING"

RS Quest: pick from 'make a combination of a bow and sword, and deliver this gift to the church of Saradomin' to 'find a way through the Underground Pass into the elven lands, clearing out any evil in there' to 'undo the curse you accidentally caused on the people of Sophanem' to 'track down and prevent Lucien from becoming a god'.
WoW quest: Go to X, and kill # of Y, or deliver this parcel to Z, who lives at X
(Fun fact. RuneScape has go to X and kill Y as a skill in its own right, for people who miss that aspect of WoW. The quests in RS are actually worthy of a hero's time)

Before RS Raid: "Remember, the Corporeal Beast doesn't let you have a gravestone, so if you die, you lose all but your 3 most valuable items, so be careful"
Before WoW Raid: "LEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOY JEEEEEEENKIIIIIIIINS!!!!!!!"

RS Cworld of warcraft bow dropsharacter development: Be what you want, when you want. There are no restrictions.
WoW character development: Oh, you've had enough playing a tank, and you want to be a mage? That's fine, all you have to do is start all over again.

RS subscription options: try out the game for free, and if you like it enough, pay $5 a month for vastly expanded content, including over 150 quests, 5 times the map area, and 9 new skills. If not, that's fine, you can still get hundreds of hours of playable content for free, as the free game is a full game on its own.
WoW subscription options: You get a 10 day free trial, but you cannot trade, use the auction house, and many other features, making it worse than a demo until you pay $30 to play the full game, and $15 every month afterwards

RS combat levelling system: choose whether you want to be a berserker (pure), with high damage attacks hitting often, but low defence, a tank, with high hp, defence and healing capabilities, or a hybrid all-rounder. Also, you can pray to the gods for temporary advantages, and summon familiars to carry items, help you fight, heal you, etc. If combat isn't for you, don't worry. You can still train up other skills as you see fit.
WoW combat levelling system: We made these classes, we know what stats are best for your character, because WE know how YOU want to play it. Also, delivering enough parcels (ie doing quests) arbitrarily makes you better at combat, and if you aren't good enough at fighting, then you can't raise your profession levels, because everyone knows master crafters have to be good at combat. Wtf?

Stroryline; WoW has excellent storyline but sadly, if you really get into the quests RS has the superior storyline. Sorry WoW, but RS DOES have the better story. Most people say "rs has no story" which is false as doing quests causes you to realize it DOES have a story and a big one at it. Dont get me wrong WoW has awesome story but it is slightly beaten by RS. WoW story can be kinda confusing too cause you gota play warcraft 1, 2 and 3 and read the books to really understand it or else your totally lost,

GRaphics: Trust me, I have played woW and it has horrible graphics for a download game made by one of the biggest gaming companies ever. WoW has way better character detail but RS shadows and texture quality is better then WoWs. Jagex as pretty much pushed the limit for a browser based game.

Combat: I prefer WoW combat cause most RS combat can be dull but combat is really improving in RS with strategical battles like Nomad and Jad.

Community: What can I say? They both have their goods and bads. But the RS community was slightly better for me n my experiences.

Updates: Wow gets huge updates in a few months and expansion which add a heck lota content but they come out like every few years. RS on the other hand updates 3-5 times a month with usually 1-2 quests, new minigames and activities etc. I feel that RS gets more updates then WoW.

Grinding: They both have their share of grinding, RS with its skills and WoW with its levels. In fact, you wont be accepted by the community in WoW unless your a high level XD

fitting in to your life: WoW s dangerously addictive, it can consume your life if your not careful while I can play Rs without losing my life. Although, RS can be addictive sometimes too but not as much as WoW.

Safety: With no more real worlds trading and all that, I can safely say RS is pretty much scammer/hacker free. Yet in WoW this is still a huge problem.

These are my thoughts on both games I have played for quite a

while, tHey both have their pros and cons. I personally prefer Runescape.
Source(s):
played both, level 80 warlock and level 55 death knight on woW, level 110 quester on RS yea same thing
okay i know that WoW beats Runescape in many aspects but have you ever really truly played RS the quests the skills the interaction with other people and npc's? i have played WoW and at first i didnt really get the missions or quests but then i found out that Arthas is the lich king and that Thrall founded Durotar and a bunch of other stuff but first i had to beat Warcraft III and its expansion so yeah that got me a bit mad, but in RS i started playing and i really started liking it like for example i couldnt wait to get 40 attack to wield rune 2h but then i found out that attack isnt great without strength so i trained strength but then i saw that my hp went up so yeah i got happy but then everybody went and killed me in 2 shots so i trained defence but then i saw that i was poor after all that work so i made money using wc. so do you see my point here? rs never really got boring i know that i havent played WoW that much and probably that if i play it enough i might like it as much as i like rs but i doubt it because rs is great the story inside the quests and what you have to accomplish to beat those quest i mean its just awesome. i know that WoW membership costs more than rs membership but is it really worth it? rs membership isnt cheap it's just got a slightly different price than WoW but that doesnt mean that it's for poor people; it's for those that want to focus on one account and not make a bunch of accounts and forget about them like in WoW. oh yeah and one more thing i am not currently a rs member or a WoW member i used to be a mem on both but last year i moved to south america so i lost membership( cause i really doubt you can pay from all the way here) so i became a f2p in rs and i still find it fun, so yeah ha! there's your proof

oh yeah and Jagex also made Funorb (i think) :p
U are terribly wrong bro wow is the most suckiesh thing i ever saw and played. in runescape u dont need a disc to play that... for all the people who thinks wow is better, i respect that... but runescape is better. you wanna know y?

1. You dont need a disc to play runescape

2.Runescape has over 140 million of people and wow... idk but i think its less.

3.Runescape quests has more of a supreme story line than wworld of warcraft bow dropsow.
While it is true that WoW has tons of quests and almost everything Vengeance said about WoW is more or less true, runescape will always be better than WoW in terms of quests. In runescape, it's always about doing different things like sneaking into a castle or helping someone who doesn't need you to kill x items of this or deliver items to another person. While in WoW you're always going about and fulfilling the requirements to "kill x number of that" or "find x number of this." In Rs you rarely get those quests, but other than that, WoW is better than Rs in almost every way. (but without quests, a game is nothing.)
This us my opinion... I have played both for quite a while.
