Im kinda new to Macs.
When I click download, a new window opens and it seems like its downloading fine.
Then at the end of it downloading it says "Are you sure you want to continue downloading “install_flash_player_osx_intel.dmg”?
I select Continue then another window pops up & says "Devices with powerPC processors are no longer supported. Click below to download the latest version of flash player for PowerPC"
What do I doooo?!
You see : install_flash_player_osx_intel.dmg The word intel.dmg. Its the wrong flash player. MAC with OSx (Tiger) 10.4 are not Intel chip based computers. You would need to chooadobe flash player 10.4 downloadse the correct flash player from the MAC web site. The same with JAVA, but one you reach a certain point in the updates it is no Longer Supported to newer versions. That is when you have to install a newer version of MAC OSx and the next version is the last for a PCC PowerPC Processor. The MAC laptop I have that I use once in awhile is the iBook G4 I keep it around because all the i***** programs where standard installed and part of the operating system, now as they move forward you have to pay for these if you want them.
All Java updates come from Software Update under the Apple menu. There is no other way to update Java onadobe flash player 10.4 download any Mac OS system. To go past what is available from Software Update, you must buy OS 10.5.
Flash Player for PPC is completely dropped by Adobe. They only keep the last PPC version that was released hidden in their archive page, link below. If you want to use a newer version of Flash Player, you must buy OS 10.5.
In general, software that is less than five years old is not going to work on your computer until you buy and install OS 10.5. You cannot install OS 10.5 on all Macs. Tell us what Mac you have (model and processor speed), and we will tell you what is the maximum OS version you can install.
