I'm throwing a Dora the Explorer birthday party for my soon to be two year old.?
I want it to be really nice with out burning a hole in my pocket. Does anyone have any fun and creative ideas that will help me? So far, I'm saving money by printing my own dora the explorer invitations and I found a really cool way to make party favors for the children by making little bags resemling back pack and the map.
Here's some fun Dodora explorerra Party ideas

Have a fun party!
Make the cake yourself, dye the icing pink or green, like grass, and put little Dora toys and figurines on top.

Have lots of "Dora colored" balloons, green, pale purple, pink.

I bet you could even put together a little Dora the Explorer treasure hunt type thing in your back yard, with The Map and have the birthday girl wear the backpack, but have everyone included and have tdora explorerhe party bags as the treasure/reward.

Be creative! Kids don't know if you're being "cheap" :)
